1:45pm– 3:45pm TEAM BUILDING SESSION – Beach Olympics
Team spirit and determination are the keys to success in the Corporate Beach Olympics. This is a fun, high energy activity that is designed to enhance interaction and bonding, and is suitable for all ages and abilities.Our inclusive series of team games can be delivered on the beach or on the grass and are all loads of fun! Formatted as a round-robin of events, teams compete against each other with results progressively posted to the record board. It's a tired but happy group that makes its way from the field of play.

BEACH OLYMPIC ACTIVITIES

BOX BALL: Working on a small baseball field, this game will test the team’s ability to work together in a sporting arena. Using a Frisbee, a football, soccer ball and a tennis ball, the batter will come up to the plate to throw the Frisbee, kick the balls and hit the tennis ball as far as possible. As the batter runs the bases the fielding team has to work together to return all of these items to a box waiting at home base.
BARREL FILL: Teams are required to fill a barrel to over-flowing as quickly as they can. With the water source a few metres away, teams must furiously race to fill their barrel which has many holes in it to be plugged at the same time.
ULTIMATE FRISBEE: In this fast and furious game everybody must work together to score as many goals as possible. All will enjoy this hybrid game of Frisbee, netball, and football (noncontact).
ACCURACY SLING: In this activity the teams will nominate team members to hold the catching buckets. Other members of the team will have a large elastic band which they will use to catapult tennis balls into the air. The objective is for the catchers to catch as many tennis balls in their bucket as possible in the time available.
VOLLEYBALL: Volleyball courts will be set up with 2 - 4 teams occupying each court. The teams must then attempt to win points against the other teams over modified and shortened versions of the game in a round robin situation.
TUG – OF – WAR: Quick games against varying opponents for points.
CREATIVE SANDCASTLES: A chance to rest the body and put the creative juices to work. Given a theme of your choice, teams must design and build the perfect sandcastle and then provide a quick
30 second description to the judges for Beach Olympics points.
