Session Activity
Opening
• Board Leeuwin II
• Welcome & introductions
• Expectations and outcomes • Allocation to watches (teams)
• Welcome brief by Mate/Captain. Safety brief by Mate.
• Brief by programme facilitator. Expectations and setting the tone. Icebreaker activity and introduction to watches & ship familiarization

Getting underway
• Set sails
• Line Handling • Participants work with watch leaders and crew (ongoing safety training pre- sail and line handling)
• Participants haul on lines to set sail

Team Activities
• Team building activities • Activities in watch groups to focus on teamwork, communication & leadership skill
• Communication activity as whole group

Refreshment
• Food Service • Food served in the main saloon (in turns)

Sail Training
• Opportunity to participate in various roles in the running of the ship • Manoeuvring the ship & sail handling
• Climbing aloft, Steering the ship
• Hand all sail ready to come alongside

Closing Remarks
• Review
• Ship comes alongside the wharf
• Disembark
• Programme facilitator and/or company representative to make closing remarks
• Participants depart
• Watchleaders furl all sail

Followed by Lunch or Dinner in the harbourtown of Fremantle....request options
